Fast charge
What may be needed for protecting our installation?
The ultra-fast charging point installations are located in environments with public access where the vehicle requires a quick recharge (car sharing, electric stations, vehicle fleets, airports) and parking is short term. These charging points are mainly DC in order to provide the vehicle with the necessary charge in the shortest possible time.
These types of charging points require overvoltage protection at the source of the installation, as well as additional transient overvoltage protection next to (or inside) the charging point.

Combined POP + SPD type 2 single-phase protector. Automatic reset due to meter trip.

The complete protection solution for each application may require an LPS (Lightning Protection System). Our software is free and allows you to do the risk analysis and solve the geometric project with your bill of materials.
