What may be needed for protecting our installation?
Domestic installations require an additional circuit for the charging point (as per diagram 4 ITC-BT-52). In both new and existing installations, a protection and metering box (CPM) will be installed that incorporates transient overvoltage protection before the meter.
It is necessary to review the general control and protection panel of the home and adapt it with respect to ITC-BT-52 to implement protection against transient and permanent overvoltages.
