Type 2 surge protection device (SPD) for transient overvoltages pluggable with Imax 50 kA. The multi-certified EGARA 2 range is suitable for protecting low-voltage installations against overvoltages.

Features

* Suitable as a second line of defense in situations where Type 1 protectors are already installed (such as in distribution boards) or as the first line of defense in settings like commercial buildings or homes that are not directly exposed to lightning strikes and do not have external lightning protection systems in place.
* Multi-certified range: IEC cert (DEKRA & ENEC) & UL Type 1CA cert.
* Maximum discharge current (8/20 μs): 50 kA per phase.
* Nominal discharge current (8/20 μs): 20 kA per phase.
* TT, TNC, TNS and isolated IT earthing systems. 120/208V, 230/400 V, 277/480 V, 400/690 V networks.
* Visual and remote end of life indication.
* Short-circuit current rating 25kA.
* No back-up fuse up to 315A.
* Reinforced plug-in DIN rail format.
* New easy ergonomic extraction.
* Distributed PE & Equipotential EBB.
* Shock withstand and vibration-proof: Remote microswitch and DIN-rail anchorage.
* Advanced traceability and in-line automated quality controls of 100% of the SPDs.
