IBM TWINAX

IBM Twinax are local area networks with bus technology which are designed almost exclusivly for IBM terminals. Data rates from 1 to 4 Mbit/s are admitted. Its logic ring connection is achieved by cabling in bus where on both ends a network administrator such as an AS/400 IBM is placed.

The protection has to be installed in the communication input of each device in the network, both of the server and the different terminals.
