AO: Single-phase and three-phase protectors of high efficiency with galvanic separation and protection level Up of 0,5 kV

The wave absorbers assure a high protection standard for all sensitive electronic equipment (installations in medical centers, computer centers, ...) agains surge voltages.

This protection is installed serially with the installation and close to the instrument to be protected. The magnitude of the voltage at the output of the absorber is less than 500V crest.

All electronic and electric devices will be efficiently protected against surge voltage provided that the interfaces of the power supply, the data and communication lines are also equipped with appropriate protections.

The first step is composed of the CS1 40 protectors which are installed to protect in common and differential mode.

The second step consists of a separation transformer which provides the isolation of the equipment to be protected.

The third step is a filter which eliminates the perturbations which may occur at the secondary of the transformer.

Power plugs with surge voltage protection incorporated

The protections incorporated in single or multiple power plugs can be used in the electrical network as protectors which are build in the power plug for the equipment to be protected.

These protections are usually installed with additional mains protectors with higher discharge power.

This type of protectors allows the particular selection of the equipment to be protected since the protection is serial with the equipment and is in the inside of the power plug for the device.
